 Goals

Honolulu Pen Women hold lively monthly luncheon meetings featuring speakers, artists and musicians, and sponsor conferences, art shows, writing competitions, seminars, and outings that further the artistic development of its members and the community. We support the writing and art of members as well as promote the arts in the wider community.

"What I learn from exposure to people in other arts weaves into my work. I pick up nuances and color that enhance a poem, article, or story. It's the rubbing elbows with people who have talents different from yours that helps you grow in your craft."

Dorothy Winslow Wright, poet & writer
