EDEN LEE MURRAY
FROM 2-D to 3-D: PAGE-TO-STAGE
Professional Actor/Director Eden Lee Murray, AEA, SAG, demonstrates the craft and tools involved in bringing written characters to life.
Eden Lee is a professional actor/director/producer/artist-educator/published author. Since coming to O’ahu 1992, she has directed or performed in every major venue on Oahu, earning sixteen Po‘okela Awards for her work. From 2009 – 2016 she served as Education Director at the Hawaii Theatre, teaching, directing, and producing shows at that beautiful historic venue. From 2016 – 2018 she was Adjunct Theatre Professor at Hawaii Pacific University, and the Artistic Director of the Paul and Vi Loo Theatre on the Kaneohe Campus. From 2018 – 2022 she worked as Theatre Director/Instructor at La Pietra, Hawaii School for Girls. Over the years Eden Lee has played 13 tasty roles in Hawaii Shakespeare Festival productions, including the Fool in King Lear, and Falstaff twice, in Merry Wives of Windsor, and Henry IV, Part 1. In 2025, she starred in the brilliant new Irish play, The Saviour, at MVT.
